Kick Ass Iron Man Date Night!
If only it were a real thing. But it is the titles of 3 movies I saw recently!
Kick Ass is possibly my favourite movie ever. I would have to see it again to test replay value..but its up there. The story is delicious, the subtle humor is hilarious, and the action scene choreography is inspiring. Honestly I couldn’t get the grin off my face during some of these scenes, just incredible. Please do yourself a favor and go see it.
Iron Man is…not a bad movie. But not a great movie by any stretch. Don’t get me wrong, I love superhero movies…probably more than I should…but there’s no real appeal to this movie. Some good action, some ridiculous science…but it just pales in comparison to Kick Ass. Seriously go see that damn movie.
Date Night is a pretty darn funny movie, a lot funnier than I expected. I don’t know why my expectations were so low going into this; I love Steve Carell and everything he does, except Evan Almighty…*shudders* and Tina Fey is a star. Anywho this is a good laugh and not too romantic despite the title. A nice no-brainer.
Now go see when Kick Ass is playing next and go see it!!
I dunno. I really liked Iron Man 2. I was forced to see it twice, because I went with friends and then the boy wanted someone to see it with so I was roped in - and I really did enjoy it immensely, both times. This could be because I have a MAJOR crush on Tony Starks AND Justin Hammer. But that’s neither here nor there.
DEFINITELY agree about Kick Ass. It was one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long, long, long time. It was creative genius, and it was just a dream to watch. Mmm. Now I want to go watch it again.
I’m on the fence with Date Night. I did enjoy it, it had it’s moments, but it wouldn’t place very highly at all on my favourites list.
