I was speaking to Earl, the man from Melbourne who works at the helpdesk, because my PDA wasn’t working this morning. We got talking about the Photons, which is the award ceremony for my company (in my mind I picture something similar to the Dundees..), and he asked if I was going. Unfortunately only the supervisors are invited - it’s in Sydney - so I don’t get an opportunity. He’s trying to convince me that I should just go to Sydney and crash it. And if they don’t let me in, he said I can just go to the after parties with him.

It sounds like a bigger thing than I imagined - Earl was telling me how The Potbelleez are playing, it’s at the Hordern Pavillion, and the are three different ‘settings’ where guests can wander around and mingle. It seems quite ellaborate.. think I should crash it? :P
