i am currently running a bath.
I need a break from GTA4, and i realised that one way to do that was to curl up with a good book, in a hot bath.
Besides, there are so many books that I have bought but never got around to reading, or got a little way in and then lost interest.
A quick list of books I have just found:
- The Poisowood Bible - Barbara Kingsolver
- The Unbearable Lightness of Being - Milan Kundera
- For Whom the Bell Tolls - Earnest Hemmingway (I got about 100 pages into this and then forgot about it)
- Trainspotting - Irvine Welsh
- Catch 22 -Joseph Heller (also got about 100 pages into this when I went away for easter, but when I came home it got stowed away somewhere and i forgot about it)
- Vanishing Acts - Jodi Picoult
- Revolving Days - David Malouf (this is a bookof poetry. I’ve flipped through it, but i’d like to sit down and have a proper look at it)
as well as all those, jacinda brought me over two books on sunday night:
- The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime - Mark Haddon
- Life of Pi - Vann Martel.
The Life of Pi is mine to keep - she gave it to me (how sweet :D).
All in all, quite a large list to work through.
Since school finished I’ve read about.. 15-20 books? But recentely have just stopped reading all together. I really want to start again.
Which one do you think I should start with?
