'The Walking Dead' Season 2 Will Premiere In October 2011 →
It comes as no surprise that the much anticipated second season of AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ wont air until October 2011. It’s only disappointing in the sense that it’s a damn good show and people are eager to see more of it.
There’s no reason to rush the show runners if it damages the quality of the series. Lets not forget that AMC’s other phenomenal show ‘Breaking Bad’ will have a year their last season and their newest one.
A six episode pilot season of ‘The Walking Dead’ is such a tease, but what a season it’s been. I’m sure many will complain that six episodes is hardly a season, but it’s a pilot season, something not uncommon for testing out new TV shows. The first season of ‘The Office’ was only six episodes. AMC also wanted ‘The Walking Dead’ to premiere in Fall 2010, which meant only doing a six episode season, as opposed to the traditional 13 episode one.
I’ll gladly wait a year for the 13 episode second season of ‘The Walking Dead’, because good things are worth waiting for.
What I got from this: There is one more episode of The Walking Dead aaaaaand that there isn’t anymore for a year.
