Sorry I haven’t been posting much/at all.

I’m sitting in an internet cafe in Edinburgh at the moment, trying to type on this weird keyboard. It is absolutely gorrrrgeous here. I seriously think we might be living here, we have both fallen in love with it so so so much. The people are friendlier than London, and it is big enough that I won’t get bored easily.

Met the nicest guy yesterday, who walked us to the ATM because we couldn’t find one. He was actually from London - posted here in the army (!!!). We told him he was the nicest Londoner we’d met so far. He responded with: “I’m never this friendly IN London.. if we were in London I’d tell you to get fucked, find your own fucking atm, what the fuck you asking me for?!” The nicest bit was, we hadn’t even asked him, we’d asked an older guy and he was a couple of metres in front and overheard us.

I always seem to get picked on when we go on walking tours or places like London Dungeon. Which is good fun, really. London dungeon, i was put on trial (and told I had the smile of 1000 suns). Edinburgh Dungeon, I got told I had very pretty eyes and that they wanted to make a stew out of my face. And just generally pointed at, singled out, and jumped towards. Gooooood fun.

We also tend to get lectured by old guys in pubs about taking care of ourselves a lot. It’s weird.

Last night we promised two different sets of people we’d visit Cardiff and Glasgow, at their requests. They wouldn’t shut up about it.

I’ve spent a looooot of money. A lot of it on alcohol, we’ve been doing it pretty much every night. That’s not a good thing, for my bank balance, my skin, my body, or my beer gut. I really need to stop, but it’s the easiest way to go out and meet people. And it’s epic fun. But no. I need to stop.

I had all these things to tell you.. and now I seriously can’t remember what I want to say. Ummm.. I’ve seen an alarming number of cute boys in towels whilst we’ve been here for the week and a half? Highlight, truly.
