Canon 500
My film camera has been doing this weird thing where it’ll capture some images perfectly - and then the next frame, there’s absolutely nothing on the negative. It’s heartbreaking to get a roll of film back from processing and having all these pictures that you were really excited to see how they turned out - and they technically never existed.
So I went back to the store I...

I shot the remainder of a roll of black and white...
And now i have to wait to get them developed to see what I took. It wasn’t until I woke up this morning and realised I’d also loaded a roll of new film into my camera that I knew I’d even taken any. I don’t get that drunk all that often, but it was definitely a nice atmosphere for some relaxed drinking last night.
Drunken film photography is so much worse than digital,...

Puppy broke through the fence.
He pretty much just crawled under it. So I dug it into the dirt, and then later came out to find him standing on the retaining wall that runs along one side of the veggie patch, looking at the prime digging-space longingly, deciding whether to jump.
Maybe this is going to be harder than I imagined.
35 millimeters?
I’ve been looking/buying some 35mm film off of ebay. Anyone that shoots 35mm: favourite film to shoot with? I’m just starting out and don’t really know what to try out - I’d love to know what you regularly shoot with!

shadel asked: Thanks, I'm glad you like the photos! They're obviously not mine and I find most by just searching online, some from books. I always credit the photographer but sometimes there's no info available. I hope you're keepin' warm, it's a cold one tonight!
Attention Gamers

Is there ever a weapon you wished to see integrated into an MMORPG, whether it’s a real weapon you’re fond of that you wish had been integrated into gaming, or a weapon you’ve come up with yourself that you wish to describe to me and there-in void all your rights to the creation of. Any help would be appreciated.

Self-Motivation vs. External Motivation
I know why I stopped going to the gym - simultaneously moving out of home, starting a new job and starting my very first year of uni - but I really wish I hadn’t. Tonight was my first gym session back in months. If you don’t believe me, I still had the March-May group fitness timetable because I haven’t been in a gym recently to pick up an updated on - it was that bad.
I...

5D
Yesterday I finally got my 5D MK II, and today, whilst on the other side of town for work, I stopped to take some pictures. I am amazed at having a full frame sensor in my hands and ended up taking a lot of pictures of the sky, just because I could fit so much of it in.
I’ll post a couple of pictures here (including my previous post), but mostly it was just to test the capabilities of...

We Are Scientists
Every 6 months or so I rediscover this band - I discovered them for the very first time in what I think was year 11. They are so damn catchy, I don’t think I’ll ever get truly sick of them. And with awesome album titles such as Safety, Fun and Learning (In That Order) and Brain Thrust Mastery, what’s not to like?
