lenier:
A bad title for a good article. Probably should be called “Why do Australians feel the need to download media?”.
Really well written, well thought out article, repeating the thoughts of quite a few internet-using Australians. Some good responses in the comments too. One of my favourites:
death of the music industry? no, just the middleman
I’d also like to add - I download...
I’m turning off the light and my iPad to finally get some sleep, while my boyfriend and my two dogs are already sleeping (my schnauzer, who generally lives with my dad, has moved in with us for a while - I’ve been missing him!), I can’t stop thinking how lucky I am, and how nice my life is at this moment in time. TV Musings
What I don’t understand about Terra Nova (we’re watching the first episode now) - if they’re basically gone back in time and are living on Earth 85 million years ago.. aren’t they worried about the meteorite that supposedly hit Earth and wiped out the dinosaurs? Or is the fact that they’re living in a different time stream meant to mean that won’t happen?

lastien asked: Hey! I noticed your conversation about film with Michael. I found cheap 35mm film some time ago on ebay (Kodak Superia Xtra 400iso 36 exp). The seller goes by the name "ecbuy_shop". Sells 10-packs of them, for AU$3.8 each, free shipping. You might want to take a look ;)

Loaded film into my new Minolta SRT 101 tonight.
I plan on shooting a roll around the city tomorrow. There is some great street art up at the moment, I especially love the poster on the corner of King William and North Terrace, and some along the Tafe building near City West.
But really I just want to check that the light meter is accurate and the lens is clear. The MC Rokkor 50mm f/1.7 lens looks pretty tasty.
I also ordered a Canon EF 100mm...
