Family Drama!
My brother in law had to go to hospital tonight - he had some blood tests today because he’s been short of breath recently, and he got a phone call at about 9pm telling him that he had a high risk of having a heart attack and that he needed to immediately get to the hospital for more tests. I think so far everything’s been ok, but, it’s sorta scary. He’s only about 37. I...
Working up a sweat!
The gym is still going well! I’ve surprised myself by keeping it up for 6 weeks, fairly solidly. I think Kim forcing me to go has helped a couple of times :D
I’ve been averaging probably 3 or 4 classes a week, I’ve upped weights in bodypump, and I can feel the difference in how my body copes with bodycombat. We’ve tried body balance, which I’m keen to get back to, and...
Just looking at that picture I remember all sorts on inane details, like setting the alarm on my phone and it telling me I had a mere 6 hours until I had to wake, or the round table that I emptied my bag on to, or the horrible shampoo they supplied my with. Even the walk to my room with the guy to let me back into my room after I’d locked myself out, where he took the opportunity to...
The Suburbs.
How is it that I’m only just listening to this album? I mean, I’d downloaded and had a quick glance over it, but only today have I actually sat down and listened to it. It is everything everyone has said about it - epic, emotional, full of depth. It is, to use a word far too common in my vocabulary, amazing. The Arcade Fire have quickly shot up my favourite bands list with this...

Any suggestions for interesting people to follow?
I would like some suggestions puh-lease! :)

I want to stop reblogging so much. More original stuff! (Or at least stuff that *I* found elsewhere on the net haha)
I think it comes down to the fact that I haven’t been spending as much time on here, and mostly just to browse when I’m bored, and I don’t realise how much I reblog until I look at my page after!

My 2 cents.
This whole flood thing is insane. It’s actually scared me a little bit, just in the fact that so many people have been made homeless with little to no warning. I have family in QLD but so far they haven’t been affected (besides my Uncle laying a lawn - twice - that has been washed away in the rains - which is kind of trivial and amusing in comparison)
I’ve been watching videos,...

Just thought I’d post something about the floods on...

I’m sick of these big corporations complaining that Aussies are shopping on the web to save money. Tax consumers for ordering overseas? bullshit.
1) Shipping and time costs act as a tax
2) Retailers, not only consumers enjoy lower prices of goods. pass those savings on.
3) What happens when the…
Conversation at the Tap Inn tonight.
Me: Hey, wouldn't it have been a good idea to have come here for our 1 year? (which is 10 days away, and I'd never been to the Tap Inn)
