Soundwave recap.
Soundwave was amazing. I’m on such a high! It was incredible – an amazing atmosphere. We walked in and straight away went to see Jack’s Mannequin. They weren’t all that good at rousing the crowd, but were still enjoyable. I will give them credit to the fact that they didn’t play the songs exactly as they sound on their albums, everything was a little bit varied. Then we went to see The Subways....

So we’re all sorta half passed out on the bed when we hear a knock at the door. Kim opens it, and in walks two *extremely* cute electricians. We all just started laughing, and Kelly quipped “I don’t know if this is more awkward for you or us”.
I just layed on the bed watching them play with the smoke detector, buried in my quilt.
Honestly?
I can’t handle it. You all seem so quick to attribute it to one person, when really, it was a mixture. I just need my space when I get like that. And not one of you seemed willing to give it to me.
Kevin likes wearing very tight pants.

69 pages on my dashboard,
a whole postsecret book, and now I’m going to nap for an hour or so while everyone is at the Finch/Silverstein/Anberlin gig. We’re going out once they finish - and Anberlin don’t even start until 11.10. It’s going to be a big one, me thinks.

I'm falling in love with this city.
Melbourne is beautiful. There is a perfect mix of old and new in the architecture, a complete myriad of fashion and style, and such a homely feel about it. I’ve only been here since Monday, but I feel so comfortable here. I love exploring the streets, the alleys and lanes, and noticing all the small things that add to the charm. I really wish I could spend a bit - or a lot - more time here....

Moment of Realisation.
Tomorrow is my first time interstate without a parent or on a school trip. I’m so excited. Even if Kevin (who is there already, along with Jackson and Brendan) already got into a fight and subsequently punched in the face.
Adventures shall be had, photographs shall be taken, friendships forged and memories made.
