“Oi sexy, going into town tonight?”
– Text from Alex. Tonight is coming together rather quickly, after I wasn’t even sure if I’d be going out at all. One of those ‘spontaneous night are best’ situations that i’ve talked about? Perhaps. But is it spontaneous enough?? Only time shall tell.

Dear Mum.
cocopops: Funnily enough, when i say i dont know if i’m doing anything tonight, it actually means i dont know if i am going to be doing something. I’d really prefer it if you didnt ask me 3 times, plus another couple of times asking “if i’m going to do something with …” and changing the names of people i could do things with. Now excuse me, while i continue to have no idea if i am doing...

I love costumes that are puns!
markyb: nickmcglynn: Like wearing boxes of Cereal all over your body covered in blood and being a “Cereal Killer” I was thinking of mixing a Jesus Costume with a Mermaid costume and being a “Jesus Fish” or for the ladies, you could get a Cowgirl costume and wear it backwards and be a “Reverse Cowgirl” Jackson told me he was going to wear a tshirt of a band called The Ceilings. He was going to...

My friend Jacinda has returned to blogging after an almost one year absence. And she returned with a cookie recipe (with only 7 grams of fat), which I know is sure to be a hit. Welcome back Jack!

Relaxing music suggestions?
I’d prefer something purely instrumental, but anything relaxing will do. I love my mellow music, and just realising that I don’t have anywhere near enough relaxing instrumentals. I have some of the Donnie Darko soundtrack, and the composure of those pieces is amazing. Go!

Got linked to this by Ben, and it is hilarious. I wonder why it wasn’t put on their website though? Unless I missed it. Jake and Amir on Indy Mogul FTW!

You know, I really just want someone to hug me right now. I could go for a nice cuddle up with someone cute. I just want that nice, warm fuzzy safe feeling.

Can anyone help?
cocopops: Well yeah, I think thats the go. But I think it means you dont need to have a working visa… Since you’re a ‘citizen’ and all… Hmmm maybe I should pay Granny a visit again. Or do some research. haha Doing some reading, I found this on Yahoo! Answers: Does Australia and UK have an agreement where I can get dual citizenship? I am Australian and my grandparents were born in the UK, am...

Can anyone help?
cocopops: I’m pretty sure you can get one. But then again, I’m looking into just getting dual citizenship. I can get that because Mum was born in England. Plus Granny told me I could. haha I think dual citizenship is just having the two passports? So technically, by decent, we are British citizens. I think.

– A Chat With Julia Allison - AskMen.com Advice, men: don’t listen to this advice. If some guy just told me where our date was going to be and didn’t ask what I wanted, I’d think he was rapey and kind of a douche. Don’t play these ridiculous head games. Just be real. Because if you get a girl by...

Can anyone help?
As any of my loyal followers would know, I’m leaving for the UK in January (well, planning on it). I’m now in the process of applying for my VISA.. but want to know if I am eligible for a UK passport. Dad was born in the UK, but at the time of my birth he was an Aussie citizen. I can’t figure out if the fact that he didn’t hold UK citizenship at the time of my birth is a...

Waiting for Amy to arrive, prepredrinking (fyi, bacardi and passiona - bad idea. also, feeling strangely tipsy after half a glass. Not eating - bad idea also.), and going through the “People You May Know” on facebook, going through the ones I don’t know, the ones I know and don’t want to add, and the ones I actually do want to keep in contact with. And then I have to decide...

Last night was quite surreal. As we sat outside of Syke, at the Electric Light, Kim and I noticed quite a few people that looked like people we knew. A bigger version of Dutch, a couple of girls who bore striking resemblance to girls we used to go to school with, and a boy (whom, embarrassingly enough, we watched for probably close to 10 minutes) who looked similar AND had similar mannerisms to...

Listening to songs in headphones, the sounds are so much more profound. Usually I just listen through my speakers, but listening through my headphones I notice so many little things in the background, when the piano came in i actually paused what I was doing to pay attention. Focusing, concentrating, on one thing rather than just taking it in as it comes is so much more rewarding. I think that,...

One of the things I’m going to miss in London - the smallness and closeness of Adelaide. I met a friend of a friend on Saturday night, turns out that he’s a trainer at a gym that Kim and Ali go to. Then, was at the plaza tonight (seeing Saw V! WOO!), and ran into (in this order) Mark (on his break from Jetty), Jarred (a guy I used to work with), then Jordan and Kelly, which led us to...

I was speaking to Earl, the man from Melbourne who works at the helpdesk, because my PDA wasn’t working this morning. We got talking about the Photons, which is the award ceremony for my company (in my mind I picture something similar to the Dundees..), and he asked if I was going. Unfortunately only the supervisors are invited - it’s in Sydney - so I don’t get an opportunity....

Oh my.
Quite an excellent day, if I do say so. Started off in bed (naturally), where I got up at about 1ish after a good night last night of pool and pizza (home at approx 230am). After showering, got talking to Kim and we decided a beach trip was in order. Beautiful, sunny weather, nothing else on our agenda - perfect.
